Taking a quick break
I’m getting a few days off to reintroduce myself to my wife and recharge the batteries, so the blog will be quiet from here til Wednesday. But MLB.com veteran Spencer Fordin is covering the Mariners this weekend and you can still get all the news on Mariners.com.
In fact, he’s already knocked out an update on Felix Hernandez being scheduled to throw his final live batting practice on Sunday and then make his Cactus League debut Thursday. You can read the full story on that here.
The Mariners face the Dodgers today, the Rangers on Sunday and the Rockies on Monday before having their first day off of the spring themselves on Tuesday. It’ll be interesting to see if they carry on their hot hitting. The two weekend games are live on 710 ESPN Seattle and the Monday game is the first TV broadcast of the spring.
